Find people who are already selling to businesses. If they are working inde-
pendently, like your products or services, and can find a fit for their current
clients or customers, you’ll have an instant cash flow. Target salespeople who
interact with customers or prospects likely to be attracted to what you have
to offer.

SPORTING EVENTS

Stand outside these events and pass out your information to the sharpest peo-
ple you see. Many of these people are professionals who just may be perfect
for your business. Remember, the more people you expose your business to,
the richer you can become.


ASK FOR REFERRALS

Always ask the people you’re prospecting if they can refer their friends who
may be interesting in making more money. You can come up with some excel-
lent leaders this way. Say something like, “Jane, would you be willing to give
me the names of three people you know who are either entrepreneurial or
who may need some extra money?”
