Walnut and Sesame Paste (核桃芝麻糊)
Ingredients:
- He tao (核桃) walnut 100 g
- Hei zhi ma (黑芝麻) Black sesame 100 g
- Da mi (rice) (大米) polished round-grained rice 200 g
- Nuo mi (糯米) sweet (glutinous) rice 100 g
- Hong tang (红糖) brown sugar: right amount
Cooking methods:
- Rinse polished round-grained rice and sweet (glutinous) rice
- Use 500 ml cold water to soak the rice over night.
- Rinse and roast walnut, remove the walnut coat
- Rinse and fried sesame until aroma
- Mix the walnut and sesame with the soaked rice and blend them until all the
ingredients turn into liquid. - Put 2000 ml water into a pot, add the brown sugar and bring to boil
- Slowly add the mixture into the pot and stir them until turn into paste.
