Small Red Bean Soup
赤豆酒釀蛋汤
Ingredients:
- Chi Xiao Dou (赤小豆) Aduki Bean 50g
- Sweet fermented glutinous rice 糯米甜酒釀 250g
- Chicken egg 4
Seasoning: brown sugar
Cooking methods:
- Rinse Chi Xiao Dou then soak in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes
- Put Chi Xiao Dou in a pot and add appropriate amount of water. Bring to boil and
then turn to medium heat. Cook until the beans are tender - Add the fermented glutinous rice and bring to boil
- Remove shell from eggs and add to pot. Boil with low heat until eggs are cooked
- Add brown sugar to taste

- Used for hypogalactia, postpartum anemia
