exhibition or for board room presentations. There
are those drawings for reproduction in report form
and finally those used to make slides for projection.
It is sometimes possible, but not always desirable, to
use the same set of drawings for all three purposes.
This course of action certainly avoids duplication of
work but drawings designed to be seen at a


distance of two metres may not reduce well for
reproduction in a report which is designed to be
read at less than half a metre. The three techniques
of presentation require different styles of drawing.
The drawing for exhibition is large in size and scale.
It uses bold techniques with weighty lines, heavy
tones, panels of large lettering, and possibly also the
