  • Removed sectionsare similar to rotated sections, except instead of drawing the rotated
    view on the view itself, removed sections are shown adjacent to the view. They may be used
    for objects with a variable cross section, and generally many cuts through the section are
    shown. It is important to note that the cutting planes must be properly marked, as shown in
    Figure 16.17.
