Eventually, Compatibility Checker delivers good news!
Publishing to SharePoint
After the setup, the preparation, and dealing with compatibility issues, the final step of publishing
an Access 2010 application to SharePoint is anticlimactic. Access will publish the database to a sub-
site within an existing SharePoint site. The SharePoint administrator should provide you with a
destination site on a SharePoint server and the permissions to create new SharePoint sites before
you can proceed with a publishing operation.
Enter the URL to the parent SharePoint site in the Server URL text box, and the name you want to
give to your Access Services site in the Site Name text box. In Figure 35.23, the parent URL is
http://archimedes2008/sites/, and the Access Services site is MyPublishedSite.
Access Services builds the MyPublishedSite (under the parent site) during the upsizing process.
