Creating a Database
There are many ways to create a new database file. Selecting the New tab in the Backstage area
opens the new database screen (see Figure 2.3). This is where you either create an entirely new
database or open a new database based on a template (for more on templates, see βThe Templates
section,β earlier in this chapter). You can even create a new database from the design of an existing
Access application.
