Access provides a default name of Database1.accdb for new databases. Be sure to provide a
name that you’ll recognize. In Figure 2.5, the new database is named
MyCollectibleMiniCars.accdb. (Entering the extension .accdb is optional — Access
automatically supplies it if you don’t.)
When the new database is created, Access automatically opens it for you. In Figure 2.5, notice that
Access opens the new database with a blank table already added to the database, ready to be filled
in with fields and other design details.
