VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN
RECORDED
- Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been
recorded?
No
Record the FREEZE FRAME DATA on the
repair order, then go to the next step.
Yes
Perform repair or diagnosis according to the
available repair information.
- If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the
next step.

VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION
AVAILABILITY
- Verify related Service Bulletins and/or on-
line repair information availability. - Is any related repair information available?
No Go to the next step.
Yes
Go to the intermittent concern
troubleshooting procedure, then go to Step 9.

VERIFY CURRENT INPUT SIGNAL STATUS:
IS CONCERN INTERMITTENT OR
CONSTANT?
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position
(engine off). - Inspect the voltage at TCM (wiring harness-
side) terminal 2J. - Is the terminal voltage within 0.24.9 V?
No Go to the next step.
Yes
Repair or replace the terminals, then go to
Step 9.
- If the terminals cannot be repaired,
replace the wiring harness, then go to
Step 9.

INSPECT TERMINAL CONDITION
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK
position. - Disconnect the AT solenoid valve
connector. - Inspect for bent terminals.
- Is there any malfunction?
No Go to the next step.
Yes Go to the next step.

INSPECT TFT SENSOR CIRCUIT
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position
(engine off). - Verify if the TCM (wiring harness-side)
terminal 2J voltage changes to 4.9 V or
more when the AT solenoid valve
connector is disconnected. - Does the TCM (wiring harness-side)
terminal voltage change?
No Go to Step 8.
6 Yes Go to the next step.
