(Barry) #1

ABOUT THIS PHOTO The living room has a great blue, late-evening sky outside and a warmer feel to the inside, making it cozy and inviting.

The nicest thing about architectural photography
is that your model doesn’t get up and walk away
or need to stretch. The house or building will be
there today and most likely tomorrow as well.
They never have an itch or complain, and you

can take your time when photographing them.
When you get to Chapter 9, where I talk about
light painting, try to use those techniques when it
comes to painting a room. The results might just
surprise you.
