Time-lapse Photography
Time-lapse photography is a technique where you
take a series of images of the same scene spread
out over a period of time, and then put them
together into a video that compresses the time.
The steps are pretty simple: Just pick a subject, set
the camera and the remote control, take the pho-
tographs, edit the images if needed, and create
the video.overexpose the moon. To combine them, load
the images as layers in the image-editing software,
with the correctly exposed moon on the bottom
and the overexposed moon on the top, and then
mask out the overexposed moon to allow the
good moon to show through. With some practice
in the software, you can get results like the image
shown in Figure 7-12.
