Many types continuous mixing systems,
also called in - line mixers, are available. In
devices such as the Tri - Blender and BreddoAnother type of batch mixing occurs in
tanks and silos. The tanks are equipped with
paddle, propeller, or scraped surface agita-
tors. The agitators can be positioned at the
top or bottom, perpendicular, or centrally
