the Boston Art Club (see below) affixed to the

stretcher.

Oil on canvas, 22 x 36 1/2 in. (55.9 x 92.7

cm), stretched with Boston tabs, in a Walfred

Thulin (1878-1949) Arts & Crafts frame.

Condition: Retouch, craquelure, surface

grime.

Provenance: Descended within a

Massachusetts family.

Exhibitions: Boston Art Club, January 5 to

February 2, 1901, no. 65.
