Condition: Craquelure with areas of lifting,

retouch, surface grime.

Provenance: Acquired c. 1930-40 in Indiana,

then by family descent.

N.B. Le Conte probably refers to Mount Le

Conte in the Great Smoky Mountains National

Park in Tennessee.
