Berliner Dom an der Spree, von der
Kurfürstenbrücke aus gesehen [The Berlin
Cathedral at the River Spree, seen from the
Kurfuersten Bridge], c. 1920s
Signed and inscribed “L. Ury/Berlin” l.l.,
inscribed “100” on the artist’s estate label
affixed to the reverse, and with an Ausstellung
Gerstenberger Chemnitz, Germany, exhibition
label affixed to the frame.
Oil on canvas, 19 3/4 x 13 3/4 in. (50.2 x 34.9
cm), framed.
Condition: Losses, canvas deformations,
craquelure, surface grime.

Provenance: Estate of the artist, Berlin;
acquired by Max Karl Wolff and Lucie Tichauer
Wolff, Berlin, prior to mid-1930s; by family
descent to the present owners.
