Ink and wash heightened with gouache on

laid paper, 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 in. (24.9 x 16.0 cm),

framed.

Condition: Staining, creasing to reverse,

hinged at the top to backing mat.

N.B. The collector’s stamp PM within a circle

is the mark of Mathias Polakovits (Hungarian/

French, 1921-1987); the second mark remains

unidentified.
