Thehumanbodyismuchlikeanapplianceinthatitreceivesspiritualen-

ergyfromthesoulthroughthemindandtransformsitintophysicalenergy

toperformphysicalwork.Feelingsofpeace,contentment,harmony,equan-

imity,dispassionandunderstandingallowtheproperflowofspiritual

energy.

Feelingsofanger,hate,fearandpassionatedesirecauseblockagesinthe

flowofspiritualenergythroughthepartsofthespirit,mindandbody,

therebycausingillness.Also,depletionofenergyoccurswhentheenergy

dissipatesorflowsout(opencircuit)ofthebodyduetomentalattentionon

worldlyobjects(attachment),desire,worry,passion,sexualejaculation,

etc.Theseactivitieshastenthedeathoftheindividualbecausetheenergyis

“usedup”sooner.Therefore,oneaimofconcentrationandmeditationisto

prevent the foolish loss of energy (closed circuit).

Reincarnationoccurswhenthesouldecidesto“switchoff”itsidentifica-

tionwithaparticularbulb(death),andthentosenditslight(LifeForce)

power to another bulb (body).

tion(B).Thismodeofenergyflowservesthepurposesofgratificationof
