thecenter,surroundedbythemapofAfrica,istheAnkh,meaning“LifeProcess.”Totheleft
oftheAnkhisasmallstripofPapyruspaperwithanAncientEgyptianProverbianProverb”
writteninhieroglyphictext.Itmeans“feedthemindwhatendures,”i.e.wisdomoflife.To
therightoftheAnkhistheEyeofHeru,knownasthe“DivineFoodOffering”orKemetic
Eucharist.Thisisfoodforthesoulbecauseitrequiresspiritualenlightenment.Alltogether,
thesesymbolizethatlife(Ankh)andhealthresultwhenthesethreeaspectsoftheconstitution
ofahumanbeingarefedthepropernourishment.Theyconstituteafullmealforeveryhu-
man being, food for the body, food for the mind and food for the soul.
