thisbook,theitemslistedabove(milkanddairy,meat,poultry,fish,eggs,processedbread,processed
cereal,processedrice,andpasta,fatsandoilsfromanimalproductsorprocessedandrefinedveget-
ablefatsandoils)arenottobeconsumedinANYQUANTITY.TheFoodPyramidisdesignedtoac-
commodatepeoplewhocannotresistthefooditemslistedsuchasmeats(includingfishandpoultry),
cheeses,pastas,eggs,etc.,andalsotoaccommodatethelobbyistsfromthemeatanddairyindustry,
aswellasthoseinthefoodindustrywho,outofselfishnessandgreed,wanttocontinuetoprovide
thoseitemstotheconsumer.Thisisnotthewaytopromotehealth.Thisissimilartothetobaccoin-
dustry’srecklessdisregardforhumanlifeinthepursuitofprofits.ThisacquiescenceoftheU.S.De-
partmentofAgricultureCenterforNutritionPolicyandPromotionwhichproducedthe“FoodPyram-
id”isreflectedintheAmericanMedicalAssociation,whichdoesnotendorseDr.DeanOrnish’s
PROVENmethodtoreverseheartdiseasebyaregimenoftheintegralpracticeoftheyogicdiscip-
lines,includingvegetariandiet,becausetheyfeelpeoplewouldnotfollowitsincetheywouldmiss
the foods (poisons) they like to eat, i.e. meats (including fish and poultry), cheeses, pastas, eggs, etc.
Livingalifeofhealthdoesnotmeanprivation,butratherfulfillmentandpeace.Fulfillmentand
peaceoccurwhenpeoplelivelifeforthehigherpurposeinsteadofjustforthepursuitofdemeaning
sensualpleasuressuchasthosefleetingdelightsgainedbyfoodsthatsatisfyanabnormallyexcited
taste.
Aspreviouslydiscussed,mostgrainshavemucus-formingqualities.Somegrainsbecomedetrimental
tothebodythroughprocessingandrefiningbythefoodcompanies.Somegrainsandbeanshaveboth
acidinhibitingandacidformingqualities.Soybeansareacidinhibiting.Othergrainsandbeansare
consideredtobeacidforming.Thislistincludesdriedpeas,driedbeans,ryeflour,oatflour,oat
flakes.Cookingactstoreleasenutrientsinsomefoodsthatwouldotherwisebedifficulttodigest(i.e.
grains,beans),butalsoaltersthechemistryoffood,breakingdownthenutrientsandtherebyrender-
ingthefoodlessnutritious.InviewoftheKemeticDiet,the“FoodPyramid”shouldbeadjustedto
