Theeminentdeveloperoftheprovenandtested“ReversingHeartDiseaseDisease””program,car-


diologistDr.DeanOrnishM.D.,alongwithothersintheorthodoxmedical,wholisticandalternative
healthfields,havebeenvoicingtheirconcernsovertheAtkinssystemforsometime.Dr.Ornishwas
soconcernedthathelabledtheAtkinssystemas“mortgagingone’shealth.”Thismeansthatoneis
