Activity: Modify the Dimension Scheme

Modify the Slot Cut dimension scheme.
278) Right-c lick Change Layer in the Graphics window. The Change
document Layers dialog box is displayed.

279. Click the Layer Properties icon from the Change document
     layer dialog box. The Layers dialog box is displayed.

Set the On/Off icon to modify the status of the Layers.
280) Click the Dims Layer On. Dims is the current layer.

     Click the Notes Layer O n.

     Click the Hidden Dims Layer O ff.

     Click the Format Layer O n.

     Click OK from the Layers dialog box.

     Click Zoom to Area from the

     Zoom in on the right slot of Drawing

Hide the dimension between the two arc center points.
287) Click the 10 dimension on the right bottom side of Drawing
View3.

     Click the Others tab in the Dimension PropertyManager.

     Select Hidden Dims from the Layer box in the Dimension
     PropertyManager.

     Click OK from the Dimension PropertyManager. The 10
     dimension is not displayed.

     
     

Create a vertical dimension.

     Click the Smart Dimension Sketch tool. The Dimension
     PropertyManager is displayed.

     Click Smart dimensioning from the Dimension Assist Tools
     box.
