Engineering Design with SOLIDWORKS® 2016 Fundamentals of Drawing
Click the fourth row under the Property Name.
Select Number from the Name drop-down menu.
Click in the Value/Text Expression box.
Enter 56- 22222 for Value. Click the Evaluated Value box.
Add DrawnBy and DrawnDate in Custom Properties.
381) Click the fifth row under the Property Name.
Select DrawnBy from the Name drop-down menu.
Click in the Value/Text Expression box.
Enter your initials for Value. Click in the Evaluated Value box.
Click the sixth row under the Property Name.
Select DrawnDate from the Name drop-down menu.
Enter today’s date for Value. Click in the Value/Text Expression box.
Click OK from the Summary Information dialog box.
The DrawnBy Property and DrawnDate
Property are updated in the Title block. The
current DWG NO. is the SOLIDWORKS
File Name. Assign the Number Property to
the DWG NO. in the Title block.
Link the Properties to the Drawing Notes.
