Norman Foster of Foster + Partners, who
have worked with Apple on many
projects worldwide, has suggested that the
“conventional garage” may need to be rethought
in terms of workplace design. In any case, with
fewer people than ever needing to travel to
work already, perhaps driveways and garage
space could soon become a thing of the past at
home, too?
It might only be a utopian vision for now, but
one day, we may all be getting ready for work
and working in our own eco-friendly, super-
smart and innovatively designed homes –
inspired, in part, by the combined genius of
Steve Jobs and Jony Ive.
