Get away, do everything differently, exceed the limits and take risks. Get to know other people and thus experience new
customs and traditions. Discover a foreign country and gain new experiences and at the same time strengthen one’s own
personality and enhance and deepen the professional skills. This all and even more is what makes our young generation
tick and what keeps it busy. In short: everything we see, hear and read on TV, Video, Facebook, Twitter, Magazines etc. we
would like to experience all this once in person and independently. It is precisely for this reason, for this motivation, to
face the personal affinities and desires of the young generation, that we founded the Fondation Guillaume (FG) 30 years
ago. As younger Partner of Intercoiffure and at the same time under the umbrella of Intercoiffure Mondial, the FG has grown
within a few years to be an important component of the Intercoiffure family around the world. Young, talented and motivated
hair stylists with a passion for hair and beauty find in the FG a dynamic atmosphere for which there are no visible boundaries
for development. The active participation in the FG is the best and safest way to seek after years of practice, the
full membership of the Intercoiffure family. In most countries, the FG is running with full power as an
independent group within the Intercoiffure. This matures the basis for the next steps; whoever is fully committed will have
all the doors of international contacts open for him. During the year 2012 we have installed an advanced training centre,
the so-called "Studio Guillaume" in our new “House of Nations” in Paris. Our special thanks go to Takara Belmont and
Welonda who have both generously furnished the studio. For the opening of the studio the Fashion Team of the Fondation
Guillaume, Fabrizio di Carlo, Nino Altobelli and Bruno Sommer, organized the first photo-shoot with the support of Balmain
Hair. The result of this hairdressing event is visible in these pages. The Fashion Team is planning targeted seminars in the
Studio Guillaume and some country groups of the FG have already registered their interest to conduct exclusive
seminars. The highlight of the year, as always, is the week of Forum Seminar of the FG in September in Paris. For the first
time the opening of the Seminar (“Kissing Party”) will take place in the new “House of Nations”. The members of the
Foundation Board and the Fashion Team look forward to a large attendance of the young generation of Intercoiffure on this
memorable and current event.
