Learn to make a living. Fortaleza is a
shelter located in the North of Brazil
for abused children and teenagers.
They come from the streets, have no
family and no social ties. Drugs and
prostitution belong to the kids’ every
day life. "Education for Life" in
Fortaleza and its relief program
supports teenagers aged 16 to 21. In
the training centre the trainees
become young professionals in hair-
dressing. 80 teenagers are trained
here every year.
AUSBILDUNG FÜR DIE ZUKUNFT
Lernen, um zu leben. Fortaleza
ist ein Zufluchtsort für misshandelte
und gefährdete Kinder und Jugend-
liche im Norden Brasiliens. Sie
kommen von der Straße, sind
ohne Familie, haben keine sozialen
Bande. Drogen und Prostitution
gehören zum Kinder-Alltag.
"Education for Life" unterstützt in
Fortaleza Teenager zwischen 16 und
21 Jahren mit seinem Hilfspro-
gramm. Im Trainingscenter werden
die Auszubildenden zu jungen
Friseur-Profis. 80 Jugendliche pro
Jahr werden hier ausgebildet.

Apprendre à gagner sa vie. Fortaleza
yest un refuge situé au Nord du Brésil,
pour les enfants et les jeunes maltraités
ou en danger. Ils viennent de la rue,
n’ont ni famille ni attache sociale. La
drogue et la prostitution font partie
du quotidien de ces enfants. Le
programme « Education for Life » à
Fortaleza vient en aide à des adoles-
cents de 16 à 21 ans. Dans le centre
de formation les apprentis deviennent
des jeunes professionnels de la
coiffure. 80 jeunes sont formés ici
chaque année.

Aprender a ganarse la vida. Fortaleza
es un refugio en el Norte de Brasil,
para los niños y jóvenes maltratados
o en peligro. Vienen de la calle, no
tienen ni familia ni arrimo en la
sociedad. Las drogas y la prostitución
son parte del cotidiano de estos
niños. El programa social “Education
for Life” en Fortaleza, por su parte,
ayuda a los jóvenes entre 16 y 21
años. En este centro de formación,
los aprendices se vuelven en
verdaderos profesionales de la
peluquería. Se capacitan a 80

With great commitment ICD Romania
successfully advocated for the establish-
ment of hairdressing schools: two
“Scoala Intercoiffure Romania“ certified
by the Romanian government have
been launched. In 2008 the school
in Bucharest opened. 16 students
currently learn the hairdressing profes-
sion with three teachers in a five-month
course.
GEPRÜFTER ABSCHLUSS
Mit großem Einsatz setzte sich ICD
Rumänien erfolgreich für die Errichtung
von Friseurschulen ein: Es wurden zwei
von der rumänischen Regierung beur-
kundete „Scoala Intercoiffure Romania“
eröffnet. 2008 entstand das Projekt in
Bukarest. Dort lernen zur Zeit 16
Schüler mit drei Lehrern den Friseurbe-
ruf in einem fünfmonatigen Kurs.

Roumanie a plaidé avec succès pour la
mise en place des écoles de coiffure:
deux « Scoala Intercoiffure Romania »
certifiées par le gouvernement roumain
ont été lancées. En 2008, l'école à
Bucarest a ouvert ses portes. Actuellement
16 élèves apprennent le métier de
coiffure avec trois enseignants dans un
cours de cinq mois.
DIPLOMA CERTIFICADO
Con gran compromiso ICD Rumania
promovió con éxito la creación de
escuelas de peluquería: se pusieron en
marcha dos "Scoala Intercoiffure
Romania" certificadas por el gobierno
Rumano. En 2008, la escuela de Bucarest
abrió. 16 estudiantes actualmente
aprenden la profesión de peluquero con
tres profesores en un curso de cinco
