making you sweat, remember — you ’ ve helped the next fella.
Cates: What do you mean?
Drummond: You don ’ t suppose this kind of thing is ever fi n-
ished, do you? Tomorrow it ’ ll be something else — and
another fella will have to stand up. And you ’ ve helped give
him the guts to do it!

Inherit the Wind takes its title from Proverbs 11:29: “ He that
troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind. ” It ’ s not inac-
curate to say that creating Headroom for organizational and
cultural transformation will trouble your organizational house.
Risk is inherent, and the work is not for the faint - of - heart.
