adult,’ and ‘large arm.’
Most problems with cuff placement will be a problem with the arm rather than the
cuff and ‘Could not obtain’ should be selected for arm as described above. There may
be some situations where the arm can be used but for some reason the cuff cannot be
positioned as described in Section 3.8.3. Make every effort to attempt to position the
cuff correctly before deciding to exclude the SP for this reason.
If you are unable to position a cuff correctly on the SP’s arm, the SP will be excluded.
Press the ‘Close Exam’ button at the bottom of the screen. The status screen will be
displayed.
