as 130. The technician noticed that the heart rate was actually 12 8 at the time of data
capture. This is within 5 beats of the captured value, but the technician manually
entered 128 in the heart rate field. This is an example of an incorrect data entry for
this field. The heart rate did not have to be entered manually because the captured
heart rate was within 5 beats of the heart rate noted on the blood pressure monitor.
