Entire Exam (these criteria apply throughout the entire exam):
%PMHR greater than 100% Go to recovery (no exceptions)
%PMHR greater than 85% Check RPE and if SP is OK based on criteria,
(19 through 49 years) continue.
%PMHR greater than 90% Check RPE and if SP is OK based on criteria,
(12 through 18 years) continue.
SBP greater than 260 mmHg Go to recovery (no exceptions)
DBP greater than 115 mm Hg Go to recovery (no exceptions)
RPE greater than 17 Go to recovery (exception at end of Stage 2)
Warmup
%PMHR less than 50% Increase exercise protocol
%PMHR greater than 60% Decrease exercise protocol

Stage 1
%PMHR greater than 80% Check RPE and if SP is OK based on criteria,
