4.2. Height and Weight Measurements to Determine BMI
The Integrated Survey Information System (ISIS) is the data entry system that is used in this
study. See Section 1.3 for a brief description of ISIS. Detailed procedures for conducting the treadmill test
are outlined in Chapter 3. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a step-by-step guideline on the data
entry for this component.
Exhibit 4-3. Weight and height measurements from body composition
As soon as you bring the SP into the CV Fitness room you should log onto the system.
Then wand the SP into the system to confirm that you are conducting the test on the
correct SP.
Do not start the height and weight measurements until you have logged onto the
system.
If the SP completed the Body Measures component prior to starting the CV Fitness
component, the height and weight measurements from that component will be pulled
from the database and displayed on the first screen. The fields for weight and height
measurements will be disabled to prevent unnecessary entry. See Exhibit 4-3 above.
