dren.^30 ThisvalUinglanguagewithregard tothegraves-distinguishing
membershiporstatus-hassoinfluencedtheresultinginugeortheceme-
terythatitisnotuncommontofindsummariesbyotherscholarsgivingthe
impressionthattheabsenceorwomenandchildrenatQumranishardevi-
dencerromthematerialrem~lins,
EvenonthebasisorevidencerromtheHrstexcavationsthislanguage
