Indeed.it wouldbeworthwhilehavingstudentsgivesomeattentionto
Prov31, a biblicaltext that couldserveasanentree intoconsidering
women'shouseholdroles.


CASESTUDY2:WOMENANDRELIGION

ManystudentsdecidetotakeintroductoryBiblecoursesbecauseof
theirowninvolvementsininstitutionalizedreligion.Theyareinterestedin
biblicallybasedbeliefsand praxis.Thus,examiningthelivesofwomen
withrespect toreligion wouldbeanappealingaspectofanattemptto
bringarchaeologyintoagenderedconsiderationoftheHebrewBible. J
