is looking to appoint a new CEO
CISI is the largest and most widely respected professional body for those who work
in the securities, investment, wealth and financial planning industries in the UK and
in a growing number of financial centres globally. Evolved from the London Stock
Exchange, CISI now has a core membership of nearly 45,000 members in over 100
countries, and is growing year on year.
As an Institute with educational purpose, charitable status and royal charter, CISI have
a commitment to promote and ensure the highest levels of competency within the
industry. Coming up to their 30th anniversary next year, this is an incredibly exciting
time to lead the organisation through this momentous period and continue to set the
standards of integrity and professional excellence throughout the sector.
CISI are looking for an outstanding new CEO to join the Board and lead the
organisation into its 4th decade of success. The CEO will provide thoughtful, strategic
and energetic leadership to the organisation across 170 multiple geographies and
help set the future image of CISI and bring this to reality with the outstanding team
that has been created over the past 30 years.
Critically, the incoming CEO will help further the educational mission of the
organisation and therefore have a genuine commitment to education and life-
long learning and embody these values on a personal and professional level. This
individual will represent the organisation on the international stage and will need
to demonstrate a real commitment to the Institute’s ethos: a strong enthusiasm for
public service, education and financial services as well as a genuine interest in, and
respect for, the work and purpose of CISI.
