particular emphasis on the reasons why certain poses
shouldbeavoided.Theuseofposesthatareparticularly
goodforfeminineormasculinesubjectsisexplainedand
thereasonswhytheyareusedtodistinguishgender,witha
posingguideforeach.Theimportanceofhowtoposethe
subject’s hands correctly is discussed in detail with
explanations of certain hand gestures
and placements and their connotations within portraiture.
