onethatteachesyoutounderstandhowlightsworkinthe
eyes and on the mask of the face. By looking at the
reflectionsoflights(catchlights)inthesubject’seyes,you
can determine how the photographer has utilized their
lightstogetthedesiredresult.Fromthesesmallcluesyou
candiscovervariousdetails:Arethecatchlightssquareor
circular?Wherehasthelightbeenpositionedtoobtainthe
best lighting? How many lights have been used?
