question: Is there an area/location that is of particular
importanceforyouandyourfamily?Ifsowhynotshoot
themajorityoftheshootthere?Thisinstantlyrendersthe
portraitmorepersonalandmeaningfultotheclient,andit
will also dictate to the photographer the kind of shoot
required.


The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to
transform the photographer into an artist, but the
impulse it gives him to keep on looking.

SCOUTING THE RIGHT LOCATIONS

Itisoftenagoodideatopre-shootatthelocationwhere
youareplanningto goscoutingouttheareabeforehand,
with interesting and suitable places to shoot already
preparedand envisaged, cangiveyou agreat advantage
when it comes to the actual shoot.


Someclientsmaynotwanttobephotographedinabusy
location,wheretheyarethecentreofattention,butothers
mayrelishthis;itwouldbeprudentforyoutodetermine
