Whilethephotographerwiththecameraultimatelyhasthe
power, they must make the sitter feel as if they have
collaboratedinsomewayintheprocess.Soaskinginitially
whattheclienthopestogetfromtheshootisatooltorelax
and‘makefriends’withtheclient,anditisalsoagreatway
tolearntheclient’sexpectationsofyouthephotographer.
Ifalltheclient’sneedsaremettheshootislikelytobea
pleasurableexperienceforboththephotographerandthe
client,andthephotographerwillultimatelyendupwitha
more successful outcome.
Each sitter will have their own needs and wants. The
photographer should approach each shoot with no
prejudgedideaofwhoevermaywalkthroughtheirdoor;
people are unique, and with a little imagination and
