KEEPING IT SIMPLE, AND BEING

CREATIVE

Whencomposinganimagewhyaddorincludesomething
thatisofnoimportancetothefinalmessageormeaning
you are trying to convey? The photographer should be
constantlyquestioningthemselveswhencomposingashot:
Doesanelementtelltheviewersomethingabouttheperson
ormessagethatIamtryingtotell?Ifnot,thenleaveitout
oftheframe.Themoreelementswithintheframethemore
the eye will move around these to determine what the
photographer’sintentionwas.Themoresimpleandcleana
composition can be, the more effective the image.

With all of these composition techniques the most
important feature to grasp is to be as inventive and
experimentalaspossible.Quiteoftenthemoreinteresting

up producing something out of their normal comfort zone.
