feel asimportant asthe adults;the photographer should
communicateattheirlevelandposeage-relevantquestions
and comments directly to the children. When shooting
children’sportraits,thephotographershouldtakeextracare
toexplain theenvironmentandwhatisgoing tohappen.
Aboveallthestudiomustbesafeforchildrentoexplore
the area and become accustomed to their surroundings.
Childrenwillquiteoftenhavetheirownquestions,aiding
communication, and creating a rapport.


WORKING WITH SMALL CHILDREN IN THE STUDIO

Be mindful that the younger the child, in general the
shortertheattentionspan.Workfastwhereanylittleones
are involvedto ensure thatthey do not losepatience.
Quiteoftenalittlerestorasnackcanhelp.However,the
photographermustbeabletoreadthesignsandsuggest
theshootcomestoanendwhileamutuallyhappyending
