woodyoumayasktheclientstodressinbrowns,darkreds
and greysto tiein with theoverallfeel, thuscreatinga
morestyledandaesthicallypleasingimage.Ifshootingin
the rain you may ask the family to bring along bright
coloured welliesand umbrellas to createa vibrancyand
interest in what may otherwise be a rather grey shoot.
Dress for Comfort
Advisetheclienttowearclothesthattheyarecomfortable
in,firstandforemost.Beingcomfortablewillbeofspecial
importance if the shoot is to include children. There is
nothing worse than a child who is uncomfortable and
restrictedinclothingthathewouldnormallynotwear.The
photographer will automatically be on the back foot.
Specifically with babies and children ask the parentsto
choosetwoorthreeoutfitstobringalongtotheshoot,ones
that they like seeing the children in. You might also
