and all expressions tell us a little more about a person.


Once thebabyor childiscomfortable itisimportantto
rememberthattheyhavearelativelyshortattentionspan,
and mayneeda few breaks inbetween shotsto havea
cuddlewithmum,getchanged,haveafeed,nappychange
andsoon.Inthesetimesitisagoodideatomovearound
thelightingset-uptocreateadifferentlook,ortoinclude
mumanddadintheshoottokeepbabyorlittleonehappy.
Workfastandknowwhenyouhavetheshotyourequire,
and then move quickly onto the next.


Itisalsoagoodideatohavetohandavarietyofsmalltoys
and rattlesto helpdistractand drawtheattention ofthe
baby.Babiesuptotheageofaroundeighteenmonthswill
respondverywelltobabbleandpeek-a-boo;theolderbaby
will lose interest in
