Morning Girls.


God is always at work. Sometimes we are blessed to see what
He is doing through us, sometimes the blessing is waiting for
us when we get to heaven, but nevertheless, God is always at
work. As sisters, daughters, mothers, and friends, we all play a
part in God’s amazing redemption plan. He has a beautiful
purpose for each of our lives. I love how God used a mom and
her daughter to bring my family to Christ. He chose them first!
Do you see that? He chose those who possibly felt
insignificant to begin the mighty work. Yes, I’m so thankful to
men and women like Billy Graham and Beth Moore, who have
inspired and taught my mom through the years, but God didn’t
choose them to plant the seed of faith. He chose an ordinary
mom and her daughter in rural Indiana, far from the limelight,
who went to a simple country church with no dynamic
speakers or worship leaders, just the regular folks from their
town. Folks like you and me. God saw them and chose them. He
still does the same today.


We read in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has a plan and purpose for
our lives. We are the body of Christ, and God has gifted you
uniquely for His beautiful plan. No one’s role is more important
than anyone else’s. We were made to touch the future with our
lives through our walk with God in the here and now, in the
seemingly insignificant and mundane days of our lives.


Our main job here on earth is to give Him glory as moms,
grandmas, working women, and single women. Every stage and
area of our lives should point to Jesus. We were made to live
lives larger than ourselves, and we need to make every day
count. You never know who is watching and whose life might
