be impacted by a simple gesture like Peggy’s.
Be encouraged today, because God loves doing big things
through women and children. Don’t believe me? Just look at
what He did through Mary and Jesus, or what about that crazy
story in John where we find Jesus feeding five thousand
people from a simple lunch of bread and fish. Who had enough
faith to give Jesus all that he had? A little boy. And who do
you think made that lunch for him? Now, I’m not a betting
woman, but if I were, I’d put my money on his mom.
Are you starting to see how time and time again God shows us
through the Bible how He uses ordinary moms and children to
change the world? Those who feel weak He makes strong (2
Corinthians 12:9).
Don’t for a second place a value on your life by what you see.
What you are doing in your home with your kids, in your
neighborhood and community, matters. Your walk with our
Lord is important. How you choose to invest your life matters.
Be women who plant simple seeds of faith in your homes, work
places, and schools. Then trust God to water those seeds and
create a mighty harvest.
Don’t think for a second that God can’t use you mightily for
His kingdom right in the midst of raising kids and taking their
friends to church. Sometimes, many times, it’s in the everyday
tasks that God is working. Yes, there are miracles in the
mundane.
Be women who live your lives on purpose—women who carry
Jesus’ mission in your hearts and pass that same mission on to
your children. Like Peggy’s mom, play the part He created you
to play. You may not see how a simple yes to a simple
