We are His servant lives, so others can see the humble God
through us.
Love is an obedient choice. When you choose to love others,
that is the moment you are most like Jesus.
Love heals relationships.
Love is a salve to wounds.
Love is the beginning of friendship.
Love initiates.
Love inspires others.
Love comforts.
Love says, “You are worth knowing and I want to be friends
with you.”
Peter says, in I Peter 4:8, “Above all, keep fervent in your love
for one another, because love covers a multitude of sin.”
Even as my friend allowed her feeling of failure and her shame
as a reason to draw back from me, so often the failures or
immaturity of our own lives keep us from loving well.
I have learned that showing and giving God’s love in our lives
is a growing process.
Sometimes showing love to others is awkward and we have to
be patient to give it without expecting something in return.
