Week 8: You Are Loved
Week 8 Challenge:
God showed his love for us in that while we were sinners, he
took initiative to come to the world to die for us. Love initiates
without being asked. To leave the fragrance of God throughout
your life, as you initiate love, show kindness, give your time
and focus to those who come across your life, you will stand
out, because so few people take the initiative or time to care for
each other. We live in a very isolated world where people do
not take initiative to reach out to each other.
As a final application of this book, write down two habits in
your life, that you would like to practice, that will help you not
just respond to people when they need you, but will push you
to initiate God’s love to them. It might be as easy as, “I will
make it a habit to ask questions of new people that God brings
into my life.” (Hi, I noticed you are new. Tell me about yourself.
What brings you to our town?) Or you might determine to
think of two people who you might tell about Good Morning
Girls and invite them to join you for the study. Can you think of
two practices that you would like to take initiative in to begin
reaching out to others that He providentially brings your way?
