Five Ways to Get to Know Jesus
1. Spend Time Reading the Bible
To get to know Jesus, you must spend time reading the Bible.
In 2 Timothy 3:16 we read, “All Scripture is God-breathed”
(NIV), meaning it all comes directly from Him. At
GoodMorningGirls.org we encourage women to dig into God’s
Word and daily read short sections of the Bible for themselves.
I love that! We have created weekly reading plans for women
who participate in our studies to easily read through a whole
book of the Bible in just a few short weeks. Many of our
studies are only eight or ten weeks long and are great for busy
women longing to know Him more.
Getting to know Jesus means making a commitment to be in
God’s Word. At GoodMorningGirls.org we encourage our
women to be in God’s Word Monday through Friday, to set
aside time in their busy schedules to get away from all the
hustle and bustle, and to spend some time with the Great I AM.
For some women getting away for quiet time means getting up
early in the morning, rising before their children get up and the
day begins. For others, who were up in the middle of the night
