in God’s hands in heaven. You must never, ever let these
define you again, because you are forgiven, loved, cherished,
redeemed and adopted by God.”
“Are you ready to believe He loves you?”
This act, once and for all, of writing down the negative voices,
and then tearing it up, gave me a feeling of ridding myself from
them forever. But even more, understanding that God’s voices
for me would be love, instruction, encouragement and not
condemnation changed my life forever. It took me a while of
practicing to rid myself of them, but little by little, I lived into
God’s love and it gave me such great joy and freedom to be
myself—to not have to perform for anyone anymore.
And so, I say to you, sweet friend, as you read this chapter
today, will you believe the lies of Satan, or will you accept His
love, your immense value to Him? He loves your eye color,
your shyness or enthusiastic personality, your shortness or
muscular body—He delights in you as you are now, because
He made you to have joy, happiness, and fullness of life! Your
secure position as His royal one with a possession and
inheritance waiting for you in heaven will be revealed to you in
heaven—and I can tell you, it will be grand.
Most women are very deep of feeling and are very susceptible
to moods and especially to living in guilt, fear or inadequacy.
Our feelings are a gift from God. Our feelings of love,
compassion, mercy, sympathy, and tenderness are a part of our
glory as women. When we exercise love towards those God
has brought into our lives, because of our feelings, we bring
great encouragement and strength to the lives of others—our
friends, children, husband, acquaintances.
