You Are Loved: Embracing the Everlasting Love God has for You

can be gloried through your weaknesses, if only you let Him.
Now, when I read 2 Corinthians 12:10, “For when I am weak,
then I am strong,” I see the purpose in the pain. Though I
cannot go as far as to say I’m thankful for my thorn, I do realize
that it keeps me humble and reminds me that it is Christ who is
doing the mighty work in and through me. I don’t have to be
perfect to be used mightily by my Lord.


With Jesus’ help, we can silence the voices that tell us we
have to be perfect to be loved by Him. Say this with me: “I
don’t have to be perfect to be perfectly loved by Jesus.” Great,
now say it again and again. Let those words take root into your
precious heart. You might even want to write them out and
place them on the mirror where you get ready in the morning.
Remember, you don’t have to be perfect to be loved by the one
who is.


Embrace Who You Are


God knows your likes and dislikes. He made you with that exact
personality, so use it and all the strengths that go with it for
His glory. If you are strong-willed, then be strong-willed for
Jesus and fight for justice. Fight for those who can’t fight for
themselves (Proverbs 31:8).Fight for what’s right in the eyes of
the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:18). If you are an encourager, then
please use your gift to lift up the body of Christ. We need you!
Bless those around you. When you think of an encouraging
word, say it to someone. Don’t hold it in but give him or her the
gift of your kind words. We live in a day when Christians can
be so discouraged, and what a soothing salve your words can
