Life Skills & Leadership: Unit 3, Session 4: Setting Priorities, Managing Time | Page 62 of 68

B. Summary
Conclude by saying:

“To move toward your goal, you will have to make sure your days do not get so filled with the things
you have to do that there isn’t room for the things you must do. And you can’t just do what you want to
do all the time or you would not fulfill your responsibilities to other people or to your future. Remember
that you can do more of some things and less of others to manage your time. You can also put the
Rocks in your container by planning to do them on a regular basis. And you can think about why you do
some activities and make choices about when to do them and how much time to spend on them. This is
how you can reach your goals over time.”
