Rationale: Identifying and developing or participating in a service project

are assets in youth development. Youth who participate in

service projects are more likely to engage in positive,

constructive behaviors and avoid negative, destructive

behaviors.

Target

Audience:

In-school and out-of-school youth who have completed at

least primary education.

Facilitator

Expertise:

Peace Corps Volunteers and local counterparts who have

been trained in how to use and adapt the Life Skills and

Leadership Manual.
